Nomination rules

Nominations were subject to the eligibility requirements in the Federation's Constitution.

Eligibility requirements to nominate

To be eligible to nominate, a person must be a financial student member of an accredited Liberal Club. If nominating for a State or Territory Representative position, that accredited Liberal Club must be based in the relevant State or Territory. Members should consult the Federation's Constitution for the full eligibility requirements.

A person may have nominated for more than one position.
Each selected office was treated as a separate nomination.
Submission of a nomination did not automatically guarantee acceptance if the nominee was later found to be ineligible or the nomination was otherwise defective.
Nominations still need to be moved and seconded from the floor of Council in accordance with the Standing Orders.
Members should consult the Federation's Constitution and Standing Orders for the full rules applying to nominations and elections.

The online nomination form is closed

The deadline for online nominations has passed. The form is no longer accepting nominations.

Nominations closed at 11:59 pm on Saturday 4 July 2026. Further questions should be directed to the Federal Director of the Federation, Mr Blake Keating, at director@alsf.org.au.

Positions without nominations

Any positions which did not receive nominations by the deadline will be dealt with by Federal Council, and nominated and elected from the floor of Federal Council on the last scheduled day of Federal Council, Sunday 12 July 2026.
