The Australian Liberal Students’ Federation (ALSF) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2026 O-Day / Orientation Week Club Grants Program, established to support affiliated Liberal student clubs in delivering a strong, professional, and effective presence on campus during O-Day and Orientation Week.
Applications are now open and will close on Monday, 2 February 2026 at 12.00 pm (AEST).

1.1 Applications are open to all clubs formally affiliated with the Australian Liberal Students’ Federation (ALSF).
1.2 Applications must be submitted by a member of the club’s elected executive, including the President, Vice-President, Secretary, or Treasurer.
1.3 Only one application per affiliated club will be considered for the O-Day / Orientation Week funding round.
2.1 The O-Day / Orientation Week Club Grants Program exists to support a strong, professional, and consistent ALSF presence on university campuses during O-Day and Orientation Week.
2.2 Grant funding may be used only for ALSF-produced promotional materials intended for use at a club’s O-Day or Orientation Week stall, including but not limited to:
Banners;
Corflutes;
Stickers; and
Other ALSF-approved promotional materials.
2.3 Each affiliated club may apply for funding of up to $200 under this program.
2.4 Funds must not be used for general events, catering, travel, advocacy campaigns, or non-ALSF branded materials.
3.1 Each application must be submitted via the official application process administered by the ALSF Secretariat.
3.2 Applications must include:
A completed application form;
A brief description of the club’s planned O-Day or Orientation Week activities;
An outline of the ALSF promotional materials requested; and
Confirmation that the materials will be used exclusively for O-Day or Orientation Week recruitment and engagement.
3.3 Applications must be submitted by the advertised closing date. Late or incomplete applications may not be considered.
4.1 Applications will be assessed by the ALSF on the basis of:
The club’s preparedness for O-Day or Orientation Week;
The anticipated effectiveness of the stall in recruiting and engaging new members;
The appropriateness and value of the requested materials; and
The equitable distribution of resources across affiliated clubs.
5.1 Approved funds will be applied directly toward the production or provision of ALSF promotional materials, as determined by the ALSF.
5.2 Clubs acknowledge that funding is provided specifically for O-Day / Orientation Week and may not be redirected to other purposes.
5.3 The ALSF reserves the right to vary, reduce, or withdraw funding if the terms of this program are not met.
6.1 Funded clubs may be required to provide brief post-O-Day feedback, including confirmation that the materials were used as intended and, where practicable, photographs of the O-Day stall.
6.2 The ALSF reserves the right to audit or review the use of funded materials to ensure compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
7.1 The ALSF retains absolute discretion to approve or reject any application.
7.2 Applications that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions, or that lack sufficient detail, may be declined without further consideration.
7.3 These Terms and Conditions may be amended by the ALSF at any time prior to the close of applications.
